What a perfect day we had today, hung a bunch of stands for next weeks customers, found some sheds and seen lots of fresh rut sign. I sent my guide to watch the river bottom and I went out to a picked corn field. I sat on the ground next to a round bail, I just started eating my apple when a 140 ten point came out of the woods I was looking over. I must of had a horseshoe in my pocket because he came right to me, I kept thinking, this is the first night I don't want to end it so soon. He ended up 5 feet from me! I saw another 15 bucks and about 50 does, what a first night!

There's still a bit more room for rifle hunters to come out with us this fall. The mule deer hunting is excellent, with plenty of whitetails in the area as well. Nebraska tags are sold over the counter so this hunt can still be a possibility for you this fall!
